Pair of vintage adjustable wall sconces produced in Sweden during the 1960s.
These pieces perfectly embody the functional elegance characteristic of Scandinavian lighting design from the period, combining the warmth of brass with a refined approach to directional and atmospheric light diffusion.
The perforated brass structure creates subtle points of light that softly project onto surrounding surfaces, producing a warm and textured visual atmosphere. Their adjustable form allows the light to remain both soft and directional, making them ideal as bedside lighting, reading lamps, or architectural accent lighting.
The natural brass patina developed over time reinforces the authenticity and material richness of the pieces while preserving the understated elegance typical of Swedish modernism. Both minimal and highly functional.
A beautifully balanced pair distinguished by the precision of its perforated metalwork and its timeless architectural simplicity.
