Pair of vintage Tesi wall sconces designed by Roberto Fiorato for Prisma, crafted in Italy during the 1980s.
Each sconce combines a blue lacquered metal structure with a beautifully curved diffuser in ribbed frosted glass. The subtle texture of the glass and the softness of its lines give the model an elegant and timeless presence.
The restrained geometric design is softened by the curved glass surface, while the blue lacquered metal adds a distinctive color accent to the composition. The quality of the materials and construction reflects the refined character of Italian lighting design from the period.
When illuminated, the frosted ribbed glass gently filters the light, producing a soft, warm and diffused glow while subtly emphasizing the texture of the diffuser.
Elegant both illuminated and switched off, the Tesi sconces combine simplicity, refined proportions and atmospheric lighting. The pair is preserved in excellent condition.
