Vintage Double Brass and Frosted Glass Wall Sconce by Perzel, France, 1950s

Vintage double brass and frosted glass wall sconce produced by Maison Perzel in Paris, France, during the 1950s.

The sconce is composed of an elegant brass structure supporting two frosted glass diffusers. Its balanced proportions, refined materials and restrained geometric lines reflect the modernist aesthetic associated with French decorative lighting of the period.

The design retains the timeless vocabulary of 1930s French modernism, combining architectural simplicity with carefully considered details and a particularly refined quality of construction.

When illuminated, the frosted glass gently filters the light, producing a soft, warm and diffused glow while emphasizing the elegant brass structure.

Produced by the renowned Parisian lighting house Perzel, this double wall sconce is signed, confirming its manufacture. Elegant and timeless, it remains a beautiful example of mid-century French lighting rooted in the modernist tradition.
